GRUB is a newly launched casual dining restaurant located at the heart of Bishan Park 1. Amidst the lush greenery sits the modern yet homey Grub, which prides itself in their use of carefully selected ingredients and dishes that “they would serve their own family.”
DESCRIBED IN ONE WORD
French toast – I loved the use of sour cream and fruit to complement the sweet, cinnamon taste of the french toast. The garlic pork sausage provided the savory flavor that makes for a warm homey breakfast.
I loved the location. There is a certain charm that comes from dining in the park. I also thought that it was good value for money. It’s rare to find a restaurant that uses fresh ingredients so creatively.
& We liked how they incorporated technology into the restaurant. While waiting for a table, I noticed that they had flat screen monitors projecting user-generated instagram photos. This kept me entertained while waiting for our table (since the Q was pretty long- as expected on a Saturday morning). It’s also just nice to see what other people had been ordering. Knowing that people had been posting photos reassured me that the food would be worth the wait!!
