DESCRIBED IN ONE WORD

J Homey – The inside of the restaurant had big windows, warm wood accents, a nice brick wall and a kitchen counter positioned amidst the tables. It felt like home.

C Refreshing – Their use of natural, fresh ingredients coupled with the floor to ceiling windows really brought the outdoors in.  Somehow it made brunch seem like such a fresh experience.

FAVORITE DISH

J French toast, with garlic pork sausage, strawberries, sour cream, maple

C French toast – I loved the use of sour cream and fruit to complement the sweet, cinnamon taste of the french toast. The garlic pork sausage provided the savory flavor that makes for a warm homey breakfast.

MOST LOVED/UNLOVED

J The kitchen counter really stood out for me. They also served my favorite churos con chocolaté. It was served with lemony custard and a warm chocolate dip.

C I loved the location. There is a certain charm that comes from dining in the park. I also thought that it was good value for money. It’s rare to find a restaurant that uses fresh ingredients so creatively.

UNIQUE-NESS

J & C We liked how they incorporated technology into the restaurant. While waiting for a table, I noticed that they had flat screen monitors projecting user-generated instagram photos. This kept me entertained while waiting for our table (since the Q was pretty long- as expected on a Saturday morning). It’s also just nice to see what other people had been ordering. Knowing that people had been posting photos reassured me that the food would be worth the wait!!

COMING BACK SOON?

J Yes, we’ve only tried their brunch. Stay tuned to catch our dinner review!

C Definitely. So many more things to try
